Let’s just say I am a frequent Hy-Vee patron. From utilizing their Fuel Saver to buying things I don’t need in their Health section due to the 10% discount Wednesday and Saturday (you’re welcome), I’m pretty sure some of the employees recognize me. All good. A gal’s got to eat… and bake. It’s no surprise that the recipe I’m featuring is a little throwback from one of their Seasons issues: Sweet ‘n’ Salty Pecan Crunch.

Sweet & Salty Pecan Crunch

1 (14.5 ounce) box Quaker Oatmeal Squares golden maple flavor
1 c. broken Hy-Vee pretzel sticks
1 c. coarsely chopped Hy-Vee pecan halves
1 c. Hy-Vee dry roasted peanuts
1/4 c. Hy-Vee butter
1/2 c. packed Hy-Vee brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp Hy-Vee vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
