No matter what your Snapchat temperature filter reads, it’s officially spring! Time to hide all your winter clothes and get out the tank tops and flip flops – just kidding. Time to blend some spring inspired colors into your wardrobe as we transition away from the coldest season.
Although the weather’s been a little abnormal (Denver has been in the 80s), I’ve been excited for all the pastels in my favorite boutiques and stores.
To welcome in the new season I’m sharing an easy, breezy spring pastels outfit that won’t break the bank. Look through your closet to find these four items: a comfy tee, denim jacket, a spring inspired skirt and pair of heels – if your feet kill or you still need to get that pedicure, go for the flats!
I’m wearing an August Ink vintage DENVER shirt with my favorite J.Crew denim jacket. The skirt was an online find via Boohoo but have no fear, if you want something similar without the deliver wait, just head into your favorite store/boutqiue. Pastels are everywhere. I finished the look with a pair of actual comfortable heels from Target – they’re the Merona Lulu Block style.
More than likely you’ll have all these pieces (sans skirt) hidden in your closet. It’s all about mixing your favorite items (comfy tees, denim jacket) with a little spring inspired pieces. Stick to two colors but mix up their hues and you’ll be good to go!
Cheers to the fact that spring has sprung,
